  The smallest species of sea dog lives in Lake Baikal in Siberia, Russia, where its length ranges from 1.1 to 1.4 meters, and its weight ranges from 50 to 130 kilograms،  The largest type of dogfish is found in the state of Baja in California, Mexico, and South America, and the length of each can reach 6.5 meters and 3,700 kilograms.
